  • Overview Report: Choose this option if your data retention setting in Google Analytics is set for a specific duration (14, 26, 38, or 50 months). This report provides pre-aggregated reports with common dimensions and metrics that cover the entire history of your property.
  • Detailed Report: Choose this option if your data retention setting in Google Analytics is set to “Do not automatically expire“. This allows for in-depth analysis with combinations of multiple dimensions, filters, and drill down functionalities.
To check your data retention settings, navigate to: Universal Analytics > Admin > Property > Tracking Info > Data Retention in your Google Analytics account.
