- Wait for a few seconds for the report to be fully generated. Do not perform any actions until you are redirected to the edit mode of the report.
Step 7: View the TikTok Insights Report
Your Looker Studio dashboard will now display your TikTok organic metrics, including:
- Video Performance (views, likes, comments, shares)
- Audience Growth (followers gained, total followers, follower change over time)
- Engagement Metrics (engagement rate, interactions, profile views)
- Content Insights (top-performing videos, posting trends, watch time)
- Audience Demographics (gender, age groups, regions — if available from TikTok)
These insights help you understand how your TikTok content performs, which videos drive the most engagement, and how your audience grows over time.
Step 8 (Optional): Add Credentials or Switch TikTok Accounts
You can update the dashboard filters or switch between multiple TikTok accounts at any time.
This is useful when:
- You manage multiple brands or creators
- You want to monitor performance across different TikTok profiles
- You provide reporting for several clients and need fast account switching
- You want to compare organic growth trends over time
How to Edit the Data Source Configuration
- Open your Looker Studio report
- In the top menu, go to Resource → Manage added data sources
- Click Edit next to the TikTok Organic data source
- Select Edit connection in the schema view
- This allows you to adjust account settings, permissions, or refresh credentials.
Modify Account and Content Settings
Once inside the connection editor:
- Switch to a different TikTok account
- Add or remove data access for available TikTok profiles
- Update filters to analyze specific timeframes, content types, or audience groups
- These adjustments help you customize your report to match your reporting needs.
Finalize the Changes
- Click Reconnect
- Review the permissions and click Allow / Apply
- Your report will now update with your latest TikTok Organic data
This optional step allows full control over what you analyze in Looker Studio, making the Data Bloo + TikTo integration even more powerful for client reporting or performance testing.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
| TikTok account not visible | Ensure you are logged into the correct TikTok account and have approved Data Bloo’s access. |
| Nothing shows in the dashboard | Check that the selected TikTok account has recent activity and available analytics data. |
| Only some videos appear | Verify that the selected date range includes the videos you want to analyze. |
| OAuth window didn’t appear | Turn off pop-up blockers and make sure you’re signed in with the correct Google and TikTok accounts. |
| Bad Request error 400 | Return to the Looker Studio homepage. Then: • Check the Google account currently connected to your Chrome browser. • Check which Google account is active in Looker Studio. If they are different, log out of one and reconnect using the same Google account across both. |
